As good as it gets

The best breakfast for the young and young at heart!

good for two

1 beet root and
1 apple
Pick up the fruits roughly the same size.
one tbsp. honey (organic, raw, far trade)

If you are lucky and have organically grown apples just wash them, without peeling the skin.
Peel the beet root.
Finely grate both fruits. Add honey and mix well.
Or roughly chop bout fruits and chop them in food processor.

What remains put in a sterilized glass jar and cover tightly. Refrigerate and use within 2 to 3 days.

As a child and during my teenage years I ate this wonderfully healthy mixture every morning before breakfast. In the beginning my father had serious situation every morning. Little me, around 6 years old, sleepy but angry, was crying and yelling: I can’t eat this it’s discussing! I ended up feeling incomplete if I did’t start my day with it. Good bless my father’s kind heart.

Even if you are not beet root lover, like my husband, you will love refreshing, crunchy and somehow earthy flavor of this healthy meal. Even more you’ll love the energy that this meals gives to your body.

Later, at the toilet don’t be alarmed. That’s not blood in your toilet bowl, it’s beet root coloring:-)
