Burning down the house Guacamole

2 ripe avocados
1 small red onion (finely chopped)
1 chili (seeds removed, minced)
2 tbsp. cilantro leaves (finely chopped)
1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
1 small ripe tomato (seeds and pulp removed)
salt
black pepper

Cut avocados in half. Remove seed. Scoop out avocado from the peel, put in a mixing bowl. Using a fork, mash the avocado. Add all other ingredients and mash some more. Adjust seasoning.

We weren’t careful with the chili, it was a very hot guacamole, indeed! Serve with toasted pita bread.
