Thai red curry paste

4 tbsp. homemade ketchup
1 small onion
1 thumb-size piece ginger
3 cloves garlic
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. fish sauce
1 tsp. shrimp paste
1 tbsp. paprika
2 tbsp. chilli powder
1 heaping tbsp. coriander seeds (ground)
1 thai red chili
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 tbsp. cumin
2 kaffir lime leaves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 can coconut milk
juice of 1/2 lemon

Place all ingredients in a food processor. Process well to form a paste.
