Use only dried flowers, the leaves and branches are poisonous for internal use.

The standard way to make infusion, pour a cup of boiling water over the material to be infused, let it stand for 5 minutes, strain it, and drink it.

2 tsp for 1 cup.
One cup a day for 10 days, and then skip 5 days.

This tea brings my childhood memories back. Sitting sick as hell, grumpy, and miserable during winter. My father would bring me the elderflower tea with lemon and honey. The relief was instant. My parents are into herbal medicine. They collect and dry their own mixture of plants. They don’t think it’s a big deal. They just do it. The older generation, before organic became new age philosophy. This tea is handpicked in Croatia by my parents. Maybe I like it so much because of that. Maybe because when I buy some organic mixture I always think: Is it really organic?. I don’t believe in labels. But I do believe in plants. In eating seasonal food which is domestic to the area where I live. My mother says  that the best healing plants for us are the ones from the area where we are born, where we live. They are in our DNA, in our family history in our cells. My mother is a vise woman. This does not mean that some strange plants are not good and helpful. I’m just saying that you can pay big money for some marvelous mixture from somewhere abroad or find some local cheeper mixture equally marvelous.
