Hangover cabbage pasta

It started innocent, lets drink a glass of champagne on the balcony. And the afternoon was windy and warm, perfect for easy, small talk drinking.
Today is a hangover day, cause we did not stop on one bottle. Easy meal than.

a splash or two olive oil
1 or 2 onions, peeled and sliced
1 big head cabbage, sliced
1 tsp brown sugar
1 can diced tomatoes
a sprinkle or two of sea salt and freshly ground pepper

Splash the olive oil into a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until they’re golden. Add the cabbage and diced tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.

Bring everything to the simmer, and then lower the heat just enough to maintain the simmer. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and continue cooking until the cabbage is tender. Around 30 minutes. Last 5 min, unlid the pot so that excessive liquid can evaporate.

Cook some pasta, and add to the cabbage.
